BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Antonio Martinez Rodriguez entró en el descanso eterno el sábado 04 de diciembre de 2025 en la comodidad de su residencia en Brownsville rodeado de su amada familia, en su 80 cumpleaños.

Lo despiden sus hijos Claudia Griselda Martinez Castillo, Armando Martinez Castillo (Fabiola Martinez), y Alejandro Martinez Carrillo (Amalia Gutierrez); y sus nietos, Itzel Alejandra (Jose Manuel Rodriguez), Antonio (Tony) Gabriel, Roberto Antonio, Amanda Graciela, Alexa Anahi y Alyssandra.

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Antonio Martinez entered into eternal rest on Thursday, the 4th of December 2025 in the comfort of his Brownsville residence surrounded by his loving family, on his 80th birthday.

With deep sadness, we mourn the passing of our friend and colleague, and wish to express our solidarity with his family during this painful time.

Antonio is survived by his children Claudia Griselda Martinez Castillo, Armando Martinez Castillo (Fabiola Martinez), and Alejandro Martinez Carrillo (Amalia Gutierrez); and by his grandchildren, Itzel Alejandra (Jose Manuel Rodriguez), Antonio (Tony) Gabriel, Roberto Antonio, Amanda Graciela, Alexa Anahi, and Alyssandra.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, the 7th of December 2025 beginning at ten o’clock in the morning within Chapel #1 of Funerales Lozano in Matamoros, Mexico.

Interment will be held on Monday, the 8th of December 2025 within Panteon Nuevo de Matamoros in Matamoros, Mexico.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 8th of December 2025 at the Matamoros Cathedral in Matamoros, Mexico.
