Aureliano "Welo" Gutierrez

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Aureliano Gutierrez, affectionately known as Welo, entered into eternal rest on Monday, the 15th of December 2025 in the comfort of his Brownsville residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 92 years of age.

His complete obituary is forthcoming and will be published once composed.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, the 18th of December 2025 between the hours of one o'clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to be recited at seven o'clock Thursday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ten o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 19th of December 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W. St. Francis Street, Brownsville. Interment will then follow, via an escorted procession, at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville.
