Beatriz "Patty" Ramirez Hurtado

Beatriz Ramirez Hurtado, 37, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas.

Beatriz, affectionately known to all as Patty, was a native of Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. Patty had been a resident of Brownsville for a number of years. Patty loved to cook, with her specialty being Pasta. Patty also loved gardening and tending to her plants and flowers.

Patty was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends, but by all those fortunate to have known her.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her 5 children: Alicia Garza, Ethan Ramirez, Rihanna Gutierrez, Jasmine Ramirez, and Hanna Gutierrez; her mother,

Isidra Hurtado Grenier and her husband Ernest; her father, Alberto Ramirez Torres; her brothers and sisters: Annette Hurtado, Noni Grenier, Norma Grenier, Travis Grenier, and Tommy Grenier. Patty will also be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

In accordance with Patty's wishes, she will be cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
