Carolina C. Hernandez, 85, died peacefully on Sunday, June 17, surrounded by family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Toribia Cuellar; her husband, Felipe A. Hernandez, and a son, Isidro Hernandez.
She is survived by her children: Maria de la Luz Arambul, Felix Hernandez, Maria Elena Cabrera, Guadalupe Hernandez, Julia Gonzalez, Luciano Hernandez, Diana Hernandez, Maria del Carmen Hernandez, Olga Mendoza, Toribia Latigo, Felipa Hernandez, Ramona Hernandez and Francisca Castro. Also surviving is a sister, Juana Cuellar along with numerous grandchildren and other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home in Brownsville. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 1218 E. Jefferson St, Brownsville. Committal services will follow the Mass at Buena Vista Burial Park.
