The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Care-Link San Antonio for their excellent cancer treatment and compassion, as well as, Corpus Christi Hospice for the loving care they provided to Danny in his final months. They both truly made his battle a manageable fight until the end where his one request to be comfortable was made possible by everyone who helped him. Their actions allowed Danny to pass into the afterlife with a high level of dignity and self-respect. The family would like both organizations to know they owe you much more than gratitude for making this possible.
Danny’s passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact he had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Thank you to everyone who has spent the past year making time to visit Danny in San Antonio and Portland. Each of you made him incredibly happy and content because of the quality time that was shared with him.
