David N. Silva

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - David N. Silva entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, the 10th of September 2025 at Spanish Meadows n Brownsville surrounded by his loving family. He was 70 years of age.

Preceding David in death are his wife, Dalila Flores Silva; his father, Marcelino B. Silva; his siblings, Nela Silva, Hector Silva, and Noe Silva; and his nephews, Abiel Cavazos, Jr., Hector Silva, Jr., and Manuel B. Silva, Jr.

Survivors include his sons, David Silva, Jr. (Cynthia), Ricky Silva (Marlene), Charles Silva, Derek Silva; stepdaughter, Daisy Dalila Cavazos (Abiel+); his mother, Esther N. Silva; his grandchildren, David Silva III, Santiago Silva, Jonathan Silva, Aaron Silva, Aidan Silva, Rylee Silva, and Rudy Charles Silva; step-grandchildren, Eduardo Cavazos, Natalie Cavazos, Jason Cavazos, and Melanie Cavazos; great-grandchildren, David Silva IV, Dante Leonardo Silva, Luke Damian Silva, and Angel Silva; his siblings, Enedina S. Alaniz (Juan), Diana Silva, Jesus Silva, Maria Silva, Manuel Silva, Ofelia S. Martinez (Joe), Marcelino Silva, Jr., Noeila S. Garcia, Edio Silva, and Sergio Silva; in addition to extended family members and numerous friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, the 12th of September 2025 between the hours of five o'clock in the afternoon noon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Friday evening within the West Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. All services will conclude Friday night. Cremation will follow.
