Dean Allen Kinne, 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Friday, March 7, 2008 at his residence in Laguna Vista, Texas surrounded by his loving family.

A native of the Pacific Northwest region Dean had been a resident of the Laguna Madre area for the last 12 years. Before his retirement, Dean worked as a machinist for 46 years. He was the owner of the company he had worked for 10 years prior to retiring to this Tropical Paradise. His hobbies included being a part-time farmer that enjoyed raising goats, llamas, and parrots. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast.

Dean was preceded in death by his son, Michael Allen Kinne; his daughter, Christine Denise Allen; his grandson, Jason White; and a brother, Donald Kinne.

Left behind to eternally treasure his memory is his loving wife of 37 years, Maxine K. Kinne; his son, Jeffery Dean and his wife Wafia Kinne from Spokane, WA; his daughter, Beth Nicole and her husband Eric Strom from Rock Springs, WY; his grandchildren: Ian and Jared Kinne, Jennifer Webb, Evan, Nolan, and Elise Kinne, and Nicole, Eric, and Aaron Strom; his 4 great-grandchildren plus the 1 thats on the way; and his special friend, Sonya Woodall.

As per his wishes, Mr. Kinne will be cremated. A memorial service celebrating his life was held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 09, 2008 in the West Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
