Delma A Sierra

Delma A. Sierra, 61, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, motherinlaw, daughterinlaw, sisterinlaw, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.

Delma, a native of Kingsville, was born on April 30, 1950 to Raymond and Esther Gomez the oldest of five daughters. She had been a resident of Brownsville for the past 19 years. She was a retired educator having worked for over a total of 30 years for several school districts in Texas. Delma was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate to have known her.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her is her husband of 31 years Adalberto Beto Sierra, Jr. her children: Adalberto Tito Sierra III and Maritza Ileana Daniel Tsukahara her parents, Raymond and Esther Gomez her sisters: Deena Diaz, Diane Hernandez, Dalissa Alberto Garza, and Amy Deanette Gomez her motherinlaw, Esther Sierra her sisters and brothersinlaw: Nazaria Daniel Salinas, Myrna Sierra, Sergio Sierra, George Sierra, Laura Sierra, and Blanca Adrian Salinas Sierra numerous nieces and nephews, greatnieces and nephews, and other extended family members and many, many friends.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today, Sunday, October 16, 2011 with the recitation of the holy rosary service scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. this evening in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sierra will be transferred on to Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home, 2303 General Cavazos Blvd., on Monday, October 17, 2011 where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon and the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Kingsville, Texas. The funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at St. Martin Catholic Church, 715 N. 8th St., Kingsville, Texas 78363.

Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville, Texas. Family members are honored to be serving as Delmas pallbearers.
