Edna Mae Vano Bedner

Edna Mae Vano Bedner, 88, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Brownsville. She was born on August 13, 1919 in San Benito, Texas.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, William h. and Mary Goode; her husband Augustus Gus Vano; a son, James L. Vano; her second husband, John P. Bedner; a son-in-law, Dan McNair; and three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her son, Larry Susan Vano, and a daughter, Arlyene McNair; her grandchildren, Dana Don Wallace, Scott Dolores McNair, Tracy Gary Corley, Jennifer Justin Leah, Aaron, Ashley, Ryan, and Jessica Vano; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held, on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
