BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Glen Anthony Haley was born on March 21, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Ida and Cliff Haley. He passed away peacefully at home in Brownsville, Texas, on Thursday, the 26th of February 2026.

Glen proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in France. After his service, he met and married Judy Horstman in 1962, and together they had two children, Dawn and Scott.

In 1974, Glen established and operated Glen’s Truck Center in Rogers, Minnesota, a business he ran for 30 years.

After his marriage to Judy ended, he later married Becky in 1993. They made their home in Milaca, Minnesota where they built a marriage rooted in deep love, admiration, and mutual respect. Through this marriage, Glen welcomed two stepdaughters, Robin and Shannon, into his life. Over the years, he became a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, all of whom he dearly enjoyed.

Throughout his life, Glen loved to travel and enjoyed hunting, saltwater fishing, and boating. More than the activities themselves, he treasured the camaraderie and friendships that came with them.

After retiring, Glen and Becky moved to Brownsville, Texas, where they lived for more than 20 years. There, they formed many friendships and developed a deep fondness and respect for the South Texas and Mexican culture and community.

Glen was known for his larger-than-life personality, quick wit, humor, memorable one-liners, and genuine love for people and animals. He was always willing to offer advice or lend a helping hand.

Preceding Glen in death are his parents, Ida and Clifford Haley, and his brother, Lyle Haley.

Glen is survived by his wife, Becky; daughter, Dawn Kelley (Mike); son, Scott Haley; stepdaughters, Robin Wisniewski (Steve) and Shannon Leach (Tom); and grandchildren, Lauren and Bryan Kelley, Phillip and Noah Wisniewski, and Addison, Emmett, and Isabel Leach.

Glen will be remembered as a charismatic, hardworking man who loved people and lived life to the fullest.

Friends and family are cordially invited to join in remembering and celebrating Glen’s life on Friday, the 20th of March 2026, from two o’clock in the afternoon to six o’clock in the evening at the Haley residence.
