Gloria "Auntie Glo" Perez Garcia

Gloria Perez Garcia, 82, of Brownsville, TX devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2018.

Gloria loved traveling the world and continued her travels after retiring in 1998 after 36 years of teaching. She was devoted to loving and caring for her family and was everyone's favorite "Auntie Glo". She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by loving husband, Urbano Garcia, her parents, Mercedes and Gumercindo Perez.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa M. (Francisco Arredondo) Garcia, Laura Garcia (James) Kaechele; her grandchildren, Casper James Kaechele and Tucker Urban Kaechele; her sisters, Frances P. (Carlos+) Saenz, Rosalia P. Zayas, and Sylvia Perez along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family especially wants to thank her doctors, caregivers and Sunshine Haven for their care, love and support.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018, from 5 - 9 pm, at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm Sunday evening. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with a private burial to follow.

James M. Kaechele, Joe D. Zayas, Carlos Saenz, Jr., Robert Garza, Myles Ryan Garza, and Richard E. Zayas are honored to be serving as "Auntie Glo's" pallbearers.
