Herbert Flores Flores

McALLEN, TX. – Herbert Flores Flores entered into eternal rest on Friday, the 25th of September 2026, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. He was 80 years of age.

Herbert was born on the 1st of November 1945 in Watsonville, California, son of the late Juan S. Flores and Maria Antonia Flores. He was a longtime resident of McAllen and Brownsville, Texas, where he was a member of El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church.

Herbert proudly served his country in the United States Army and Texas National Guard before his retirement. He attended Texas Southmost College, where he earned a certificate in Electronics and Building Trades. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family, and Herbert especially enjoyed fishing.

Preceding Herbert in death are his parents, Juan S. Flores and Maria Antonia Flores; and his siblings, David Flores, Manuel Flores, Paz Flores, Pete Flores, Henry Flores, and Sara Hass.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Eunice C. Flores; his children, Herbert Flores, Jr. (Norma), Hiram Lee Flores (Douglas Poludniak), and Stacey Thomas (Rokeda S.); his grandchildren, Anna M. Flores, Jackie Flores, and Herbert Oz Flores; and his brother, Carlos Flores. Herbert is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
