Hilda Treviño Rocha

EDINBURG, TX. - Hilda Treviño Rocha entered into eternal rest on Monday, the 23rd of March 2026 in Edinburg, Texas. She was 80 years of age.

Hilda is survived by her two sons, Rodolfo Rocha II and his wife Kathryn, and Rene Rocha and his wife Julianna; by her sister, Socorro Treviño; by her brother, Homer Treviño; and by her four grandchildren, Graham Rocha, Alyson Rocha, James Rocha, and Kate Rocha. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her sisters, Teresa Acosta and Alicia Infante; and by her brother, Rafael Treviño.

She was deeply loved by her family and by the many friends she made over the years as a teacher at Travis Elementary and Memorial Middle School in Edinburg, and through her church. She understood, as not everyone does, not to take things too seriously, not to linger too long over regret, and to remain grateful. And so, to the end, she gave thanks for a life filled with love, both given and received.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, the 29th of March 2026 between the hours of five o'clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to be recited at seven o'clock Sunday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 30th of March 2026, at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Boulevard, Brownsville.
