Irma Gloria Rodriguez

Irma Gloria Rodriguez, 53, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on October 10, 2007 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Irma was born on October 25, 1953 in Brownsville, to Roberto C. Rodriguez and Aurora G. Rodriguez. She had worked with the B.I.S.D. for over ten years as a para-professional in which she spent the last few years at Sharp Elementary. BR

She was preceded in death by her father, a son, Michael R. Arteaga and her grandparents, Erasmo and Modesta C. Rodriguez. She is survived by her mother, Aurora, a son, Christopher H. Elisa Arteaga, three daughters, Sandra Mike Francis, Patricia A. Cory Gamble, and Lauralysa R. Villarreal, two sisters, Rosalinda Pete Ortiz and Diana Macias, two brothers, Robert Janie Rodriguez, Jr. and Rene C. Rodriguez. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Michael, Michaela, Matthew, Lauren Ashley, Allison, Jackson Diego, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, from 1-9p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:30p.m. in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, October 13, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with services concluding at the church.

Pallbearers will be Michael Arteaga, Rene Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Fabian Rodriguez, Danny Ortiz, Mike Francis, Roberto Cordova, Cory Gamble and Matthew Francis.
