Joe Flores

BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Joe Flores entered into eternal rest on Thursday, the 20th of April 2023 in Kingsville, Texas. He was sixty-eight years of age.

Joe was born in Brownsville, Texas on October 16, 1954, son of the late Jose Angel Flores and Elvira Gomez Flores. He worked in land management for Carizzo Oil & Gas, Inc. until his retirement. Joe was also a member of New Life Brownsville Church.

Preceding Joe in death were his parents, Jose Angel Flores and Elvira Gomez Flores.

Survivors include his wife, Lorri Odom-Flores; his daughter, Amber Flores; his stepchildren, Hanna Odom and Luke Odom; his brother; George Flores (Alicia); his sister, Mary Fangmann (Karl); the mother of his daughter, Donna Fouch-Flores; in addition to extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service, officiated by Pastor David G. Boone, will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 29th of April 2023 at New Life Brownsville Church, 3665 Old Highway 77, Brownsville. A Graveside Service will then follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville.
