BROWNSVILLE, TX. - John Wood entered into eternal rest on Friday, the 6th of November 2026, in Harlingen, Texas. He was 79 years of age.

His complete obituary is forthcoming and will be published once composed.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, the 13th of November 2026 between the hours of three o’clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Friday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the 14th of November 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Road, Brownsville. All services will conclude at the church.
