Juan Esteban Davila

Juan “Johnny” Esteban Davila, 64, born in Brownsville, Texas on May of 1955, went home to the Lord on February 10, 2020.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years , Elvia G. Davila. Together they had 3 children, Juan Esteban ( Lisa) Jr., Jennifer Elizabeth ( Marty ) and Peter Anthony ( Brenda ) Davila. Also to cherish his memory are his grandkids: Michael Anthony Davila, Leslie Marie Davila, Adrian Lee Davila, Michael Jeffrey Lara, Kayla Michelle Lara, Miley Nicole Lara, Peter Anthony Davila, Jr., Julia Anne Davila, Gabriele Madison Davila, Katelynn Licette Garcia and Jenavie Marie Garcia; his great-grandkids: Sarah Amberly Davila, Joseph Anthony Davila, Jacob Lorenzo Davila, Maddison Marie Davila, Caroline Rose Lara and Leylani Nevaeh Mendez; 12 siblings from Mineral Wells, Texas: Thomas Davila, Casper Davila, Mary Ann Slay, Maria Antonia Smith, Martina Davila, Rosie Fierro, Esteban Davila, Jr., Joe Davila, Ramiro Davila, Ricky Davila, Lupe Davila and Raul Davila; and his lifelong friends, Margarito “Magoo Babe” and Juanita Hernandez.

Johnny worked for Valley Regional Medical Center for 43 yars and was a huge Astros fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.

All services will conclude after the chapel service.
