Leroy Harrison Radford

BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Leroy Harrison Radford entered into eternal rest on Monday, the 3rd of January 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. He was fifty-nine years of age.

Leroy was retired from Cameron County as a toll collector for over 15 years. His favorite pastimes included fishing and hunting with his best friend, working on cars, and collecting rare currencies. Leroy was the best grandpa and will be remembered for his caring and genuine personality.

Preceding Leroy in death were his parents, William Jim Radford and Esther Drewsilla Harrison Radford; uncle, Henry Lockhart Harrison and his wife Magdalena; aunts, Mary Elizabeth Harrison and Lucy Ann Harrison; and brother, Felix Flores.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Mary Louise Radford; children Fred Rios (Angela), Christopher Jason (Leonor), Angie Stevens (Andrew), Alejandro Lee Rios, and Jesus Rios (Rosie Aguilar); grandchildren Isabel, Kaylen, Giselle, Mia, Abigail, Isabel, Leroy, Efrain, Esmie, Maggie, Corra, Sofia, Harley, Alliyah, and Christopher; great-grandson, Wiley Nash Phillips, and another great-grandchild on the way; and siblings William John Radford (Yrenne), Lila Jean Luna (Lupe), Dorothy Lynn Radford, Mary Jane Radford, Louis Flores, Trudy Mae Flores, Paul Flores, Nancy Lynn Radford, and Johnny Radford. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family members.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, the 8th of January 2022 between the hours of three o’clock in the afternoon and nine o’clock at night, with a Chapel Service to begin at seven o’clock Saturday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
