Louise Goodman Gentry

SAN ANTONIO, TX. - Louise A. Gentry, 94, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, the 29th of September 2026, at her residence in San Antonio, Texas.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John C. Gentry; by her parents, Ray P. Goodman, Sr. and Virginia Austin Goodman; and by her siblings, Kathleen Byrd and Ray P. Goodman, Jr.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of Louise are her daughter, Lynne Watson; her son, Steven Gentry (Barbara); grandchildren; great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, the 23rd of October 2026 between the hours of four o'clock in the afternoon and seven o'clock in the evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will commence at ten o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the 24th of October 2026, within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Interment will then follow, via an escorted procession, at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville.

In lieu of floral arrangements and customary remembrances, the family requests memorial gifts in memory of Louise be directed to the Central Christian Church Building Fund, 1100 E. Alton Gloor Boulevard, Brownsville, Texas 78526.
