Oralia Vera Gomez

Oralia Vera Gomez, 84, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 15, 2015, at Brownsville Nursing & Rehabilitation in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Horacio Gomez.

Left to eternally treasure their memories of her are her son, Jesse V. Gomez; her daughter, Rosalinda (Reynaldo) Castillo; her three grandchildren, Jesse Rocha Gomez, Miranda Castillo and Serena Castillo; her brothers Roberto and Eloy Vera; her sister, Minerva Ysaguirre; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. in the Darling-Mouser East Chapel.

A liturgical service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
