Pedro Galindo Perez

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Pedro Galindo Perez passed away on Saturday, the 13th of June 2026 in Brownsville, Texas. He was 69 years of age.

Pedro was born in Mexico City, Mexico on March 16, 1957, son of Pedro Galindo Aguilar and Graciela Victorina Perez Cuellar. He attended The Brooks Institute in Los Angeles, California and Goldsmiths, University of London, where he studied film. 

A successful motion picture director and producer, Pedro was awarded various motional picture awards in Mexico City, and he was also successful in real estate development. An avid golfer, Pedro was a member of the Mans Golf Association (MGA) and Valley International Country Club (VICC) of Brownsville. His other favorite pastimes included soccer and Formula 1 racing.

Preceding Pedro in death are his brothers, Jesus Galindo Perez and Santiago Galindo Perez.

Survivors include his wife, Celia S. Galindo; his parents, Pedro and Graciela Galindo; his siblings, Graciela Galindo Perez and Eduardo Galindo Perez; and his loving canine companion, Sophia de Yorkie Galindo.
