Pedro Solitaire Jr.

Pedro Solitaire, 71, of Brownsville, Texas passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, after a brief battle against lung cancer.

Pete, was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville. Pete was a proud Army veteran having served our country honorably during the Viet Nam Era. Pete was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known his.

Pete was preceded in death barely a month ago by his beloved wife, Blanca I. Solitaire; and his parents: Guadalupe and Pedro Solitaire Sr.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Odette Reneé, Elton Angelo, Gilbert Anthony (Claudia) Solitaire, and Stefan Schweser; 5 grandchildren; a sister: Irma T. (James+) Vair; and a brother, Encarnacion Tamez along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018, in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. The VFW Funeral Honor Guard will render military honors at the graveside.
