Sheila Ann Goulding Barreda

The following was written by the decedent:

“Sheila Ann Goulding Barreda died January 29, 2022 after a difficult illness. Born in Punta Gorda, Florida, she moved to Brownsville in 1953 and attended Brownsville High School, Texas Southmost College, North Texas State, and American Institute of Banking. She worked at First National Bank for thirteen years and spent forty-five years as a realtor and broker of her business, Option II Real Estate.

Throughout her happy life she enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and Mexico, art, antiques, and collecting. She endured three interesting marriages. Her disposition was very reserved, eccentric, and unconventional. She loved her family and friends very much and was very kind and giving to all.”

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, LeeAnn Barreda (Mark Babcock); grandchildren, Cris Norcross (Angie Reyes) and Stacy Norcross (Paco Cordova), great-grandson, David Cordova; sister, Yolanda Dorn;  and niece, Debbie Gracia (Roland), and family. There will be no services as per her request.
