Amelia Salinas, 93, aunt and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at her Valley Regional Medical Center.
Amelia was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville. Amelia was well known throughout our community and brought a smile to many, due to her job as the delivery person for McInnis Flowers for numerous years. After her retirement, Amelia enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Amelia was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known her.
Amelia was preceded in death by her parents: Guadalupe and Jesus Salinas; 3 sisters: Leonor Rios, Carmen Rios and Guadalupe “Lupe” Treviño and 4 brothers, Filiberto, Ramiro, Jose, and Uvaldo Salinas.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home from 9 am to 10 am. A Chapel Service is scheduled for 10:00 am Friday morning. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
